  • New PARCC Test Approaching

    Fremont students in grades 3-8 will be participating in the Partnerships for the Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) assessment during the weeks of March 9 to March 13 and April 27 to May 1. The PARCC assessment is the new required assessment for the State of Illinois. PARCC has replaced the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT). Click here for detailed information on PARCC.

  • Mayor's Math Club Challenge

    Mundelein's second annual Mayor's Cup Math Challenge — an educational and fun event — for Grades 6 to 12, is generating excitement among students, parents, and teachers. It will be held on Sunday, March 8 from Noon to 4 p.m. at Mundelein High School.

  • Stock Market Club Wins Big

    A bit of research and futures thinking landed the Fremont Middle School Stock Market Club second place in the Stock Market Challenge competition in which 800 teams competed. The Illinois Council on Economic Education, which sponsored the competition through Northern Illinois University, congratulated team members with a second place certificate and a medal.
