We are a nonprofit organization formed to enhance and complement educational opportunities for all students attending Fremont District 79 schools. The Foundation is qualified by the IRS as a 501(c) (3) organization to receive tax deductible donations in support of educational excellence in our school district and community.
The Foundation works to raise money through donations, fundraisers, grants, corporate sponsorships, and more. This money is then used to fund "Grants in Action!", unique projects and events within school district 79 . We strive to provide innovative learning opportunities for students in the classroom and beyond. The Foundation operates independently from the Board of Education and PTO. Our trustees are volunteers, dedicated to the mission of the Foundation. Trustees are made up of parents and community members. We encourage you to become a volunteer today!
