Quest Food Service provides lunch services for your student at Fremont Elementary School. All students are eligible to take full advantage of a pre-pay lunch program called “Quest Debit Program”. We are sending this information home to explain the benefits of this program.
This system assists in speeding up the lunch lines, prevents loss of money, and can help the parent know what the student is purchasing. To enroll your student using cash or check, we recommend $100.00 made out to Quest Food Management. You may send more or less money, depending on your student lunch preferences. Please use the form on the bottom of this letter, including your student’s name on your check. If you have more than one child attending, you may write one check and indicate on the form how the money should be divided. Please write the student(s) names on the check.
To pay by credit card, please use MealTime’s website (www.mymealtime.com). The computerized system maintains a record of how your student is spending their deposited funds. You may access their account online, using the District school identification number as password to add money, or to see what they are purchasing.
Since we scan the school ID card for each purchase, it is essential for your student to use their ID card. The current cost for hot lunch with milk/water is $2.75; lunch alone is $2.40; milk is $.45.
At the end of the year all student accounts will rollover to the next school year, or may be transferred to a sibling’s account. Any student who would like to cash out their unused balance will be charged a $20.00 service fee. A $30.00 service fee will be charged for any NSF checks.
We know you will find our Quest Debit Program beneficial and look forward to serving lunch to your student(s) daily for the school year. Please call the Food Service Department with any questions, comments or concerns.
Sincerely,
